This April, Quinta do Lago presents an exclusive culinary series where gastronomy and artistic expression come together across three exceptional evenings. Each restaurant becomes a stage for creativity, flavour and emotion, transforming dinner into an immersive experience.
Every night begins with a live edible art co-creation between Dutch master chef Angélique Schmeinck and the resident chef of the restaurant. Together, they compose an edible painting in real time, blending artistic vision with the chef’s own signature ingredients and culinary identity.
From this opening moment, the experience unfolds as a continuous journey. The painting sets the tone for the menu that follows, with each course reflecting and extending its flavours, textures and inspiration.
Created in close collaboration, the menus at Casa Velha, Casa do Lago and Umami showcase exclusive signature dishes crafted especially for these evenings, celebrating creativity, craftsmanship and the unmistakable spirit of Quinta do Lago.

Wednesday, 8 April | Casa Velha | Portuguese Inspired
A refined Surf and Turf concept exploring the balance between land and sea. Portuguese roots meet contemporary technique in a menu defined by depth, harmony and precision.
Thursday, 9 April | Casa do Lago | Seafood Inspired
Flavours of the Sea presented on a private edible beach. A celebration of freshness, texture and coastal elegance inspired by our surrounding waters.
Friday, 10 April | Umami | Asian Inspired
An exploration of umami harmony designed to awaken the senses. Bold Asian flavours and refined contrasts come together in a dynamic culinary journey.

Casa do Lago
Lunch at Casa do Lago is a breath of fresh air. The elegant menu boasts fresh fish, seafood and seasonal ingredients to make delightful, tasty dishes. Lift your eyes from the plate and you’ll be mesmerised by the stunning surroundings that sit right outside. The gorgeous blue water, enjoyed by the local seabirds and pedalo riders alike, truly compliment the fresh and natural ingredients served at your table. Just beyond, the Ria Formosa and Atlantic Ocean kiss the coastline.
